GU up 20 at break

Gonzaga leads Southern Oregon 44-24 at halftime of GU's exhibition opener.

Ten Bulldogs scored, led by Steven Gray's 13 points. Demetri Goodson, who didn't start, added seven points, five rebounds and three assists. Robert Sacre scored seven points and grabbed seven boards. GU made 50 percent of its shots, but just 2 of 9 3-pointers and 8 of 13 free throws.

The offense was sluggish at times due to 12 turnovers.

Southern Oregon made just 24.2 percent of its shots (8 of 33). Fourteen of those attempts were 3-pointers. Kyle Tedder drained 4 of 7 3s en route to 16 points.
