Idaho men down LCSC

The Vandals pulled away for a 70-59 win over Lewis-Clark State in their second exhibition game of the season. The game, with 1,033 at Memorial Gym, came directly after the Idaho football team's loss to Nevada. Brandon Wiley led the new-look Idaho team with 18 points on 8 of 10 shooting and 10 rebounds while first-year point guard Deremy Geiger had 17 points.

Idaho's lead was trimmed to six late in the second half against an L-C team that lost to Washington State last night and Montana the night before. UI opens the season next Saturday versus Eastern Oregon, before traveling to WSU on Nov. 16.
