Few said Elias Harris (shoulder) is expected to practice a little today, his first contact since sustaining the injury, and they hope to add to his workload as the week progresses. Expects he’ll play vs. Southern Friday.

On adding San Diego State to schedule in CBE preliminary rounds (which concludes with Duke, GU, Kansas State and Marquette in Kansas City): “I think when you sign up for one of those you sign up for two guarantee games at home, usually. … Usually you’re not looking to get a top 20 team in here” in the first 10 days of the season.

On PG situation: “I don’t think all of a sudden one day we’re going to announce someone is going to play all 40 minutes. It’ll be shared by multiple people, depending on the situation, the moment and style of play, we could have any combination in there. In some ways, that’s kind of how we’ve always done it.”
