Harris expected to miss at least 4-5 days

Gonzaga received some upbeat news regarding sophomore forward Elias Harris, who left Tuesday's game against San Diego State with an Achilles' tendon injury.

An MRI on Wednesday revealed that Harris' Achilles' isn't torn, a source close to the basketball program told The Spokesman-Review. Harris is expected to miss at least 4-5 days.

"It isn't perfect, but it's not torn," the source said. "It's swollen and it's going to need some time to heal."

Harris' status for GU's game against Kansas State on Monday in Kansas City probably won't be determined until this weekend.
