Click the tab below for a link to a story in the Idaho Statesman newspaper about the Centennial football team, which travels to Moscow to take on No. 1-ranked Coeur d'Alene on Friday.

Coeur d'Alene coach Shawn Amos is pictured above in a file photo.

Amos said it's not a surprise that Centennial is in the 5A state title game. The Patriots were his pick as the team to emerge from the other side of the state bracket going into the state playoffs.

Here's a link to a story about Centennial, which Patriots coach Lee Neumann calls his hardest working team in his 21 years as head coach. The Pats have won three state titles under Neumann and one under Greg Drake, who also coached at CdA.
