AFL bumps roster size by one

First, the AFL expanded the regular season to 18 games. Now, the AFL will allow teams to expand their roster to 24 (from 23) and their game-day active roster to 21 (from 20).

This doesn't come as a surprise. I mentioned it as a likely move in an Aug. 30 article.
