Vandals up by seven at intermission
After making only one of their first nine field-goal tries, the Idaho Vandals closed the first half of Saturday's non-conference game against Eastern Washington by going 13-for-20 and building a 37-30 halftime lead.
Jeff Ledbetter led UI's first-half scoring with nine points on 3-for-5 shooting from 3-point range, while teammate Deremy Geiger added 8.
Eastern, playing without Cliff Colimon (ankle) and Rashano McRae (concussion), was led offensively by Kevin Winford's 11 points.
