Zags drop out of A.P. Top 25

Gonzaga (3-2) dropped out of the A.P. Top 25 poll. The Zags, No. 22 last week, went 1-1 at the CBE Classic, losing to No. 4 Kansas State before defeating Marquette.

GU received 51 points, checking in at No. 28. West Virginia and Louisville are 26th and 27th, respectively. North Carolina is No. 29. GU's two losses are to K-State, still No. 4, and No. 17 San Diego State. The ESPN/USA Today rankings haven't been released.

Saint Mary's received six points. The Gaels lost to future WCC foe Brigham Young, ranked No. 21, in the championship game of a tournament in South Padre Island, Texas.

By the way, GU recruit Kyle Dranginis shattered Skyview's school record with a 54-point outburst in an overtime loss to Valivue.
