OK, so a lot of you have it done. … It was really nice to sit and cover a Cougar basketball game yesterday afternoon, mainly because it seemed so, well, normal, after the week that was. Just cover a game, write it, and be done. Though the phone kept chiming in with football-related texts, but that's a story for another day. For this one, we have our game story from last night, John Blanchette's column out of the WSU 75-49 rout and freelancer Howie Stalwick's gamer that ran in the News Tribune. … From the football side of things, the Times' Bud Withers talked with folks from Mike Leach's past for this profile of the new Cougar coach, while Stalwick had this piece in the News Tribune and other places. … The Whidbey paper has this Marshall Lobbestael profile. … And that's about it concerning WSU.
