Eags snap road losing streak

Eastern Washington's Glen Dean scored six of his team-high 17 points in the final 2 1/2 minutes, and assisted on two other buckets, Saturday night as the Eagles snapped an 18-game road losing streak by tripping Big Sky Conference rival Idaho State 69-67 at Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.

Tremayne Johnson finished 15 points for Eastern (8-15 overall, 5-6 in the BSC), which greatly enhanced its chances of earning one of the six berths in the league tournament.  You can get an early look at the game story the will appear in Sunday's S-R here.
