CBBN district tourney update

I got on the Tri-City Herald website (sportstricities.com) to see how the Columbia Basin Big Nine 4A and 3A district tournaments are progressing.

4A boys

Richland (17-5) travels to Davis (18-3) of Yakima on Friday in the district title game. The winner will play the District 8 (GSL) champ in the first round of the state tournament with that winner advancing to Tacoma the following week.

 

The Richland/Davis loser takes on the Chiawana (15-6)/Walla Walla (10-11) winner on Saturday to decide the CBBN second seed. The winner will play the District 8 runner-up on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the District 8 runner-up site for a berth to state.

 

4A girls

Chiawana (19-2) plays host to Richland (17-2) on Friday in the district title game. The winner will play the District 8 (GSL) champ in the first round of the state tournament with that winner advancing to Tacoma the following week.

 

The Chiawana/Richland loser takes on the Moses Lake (16-6)/Walla Walla (10-12) winner on Saturday to decide the CBBN second seed. The winner will play the District 8 runner-up on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the District 8 runner-up site for a berth to state.

 

3A boys

Southridge (12-9) goes to Kamiakin (20-1) on Friday in the district title game. The winner will play the District 8 (GSL) champ in the first round of the state tournament with that winner advancing to Tacoma the following week.

 

3A girls

Kamiakin (16-5) travels to Eastmont (17-4) on Friday in the district title game. The winner will play the District 8 (GSL) champ in the first round of the state tournament with that winner advancing to Tacoma the following week.
