Game on at GU despite weather

Wow, what a morning, but five clean driveways and a friend's rig now functional, it's time to get going.

First news: game on. Despite no classes, Gonzaga women's basketball team is going to take the court tonight to face second-place Saint Mary's. Read on for the rest of the area roundup (and pardon the typos that sneak through, my fingers may never unthaw).

After facing the Gaels, who have landed another local standout, the Bulldogs have their big Senior Day on Saturday against San Diego. It's the last official home game for star Courtney Vandersloot, Jannelle Bekkering, injured Claire Rapp, guard Tatri Lorenzo and walk-on favorite Carter Schick. See what Vandersloot has to say about the day in Talking Hoops with Sloot.

Eastern Washington is in Montana to tackle the Bobcats tonight and the Grizzlies on Saturday. Idaho is at Fresno State tonight. Washington State gets a visit from Washington on Saturday.

OK, what else is out there? Eastern Oregon won its playoff game on Tuesday with Kyle Miller (Cheney) scoring 18. The Mountaineers play the league champs on Friday.
