Star running back Taiwan Jones (above) was a cheerleader as Eastern Washington won the FCS championship last weekend. That may have also played a role in his decision to leave school and submit his papers to be eligible for the NFL draft. He was expected to sign with an agent Friday night.

Eagle coach Beau Baldwin is thankful for three seasons with Jones; a draft expect said the Eagle star is likely a late round pick in the NFL draft.
