Shock release Hansen, still looking for DL

Spokane cut quarterback Casey Hansen, who started the last two games after injuries to Bill Stull and Kyle Rowley. Erik Meyer, acquired in a trade earlier this week, is expected to start next Friday (June 10th) against Philadelphia.

Also, one of the free-agent targets Spokane was looking at -- ex-Shock DL Jeremy Geathers -- signed with Chicago. By the way, Cleveland has signed ex-Shock QB Andrico Hines.

Here's a recap of Shock-related news.
