Shock notes

As mentioned earlier, I put together a notebook from today's Shock practice that will run in Thursday's S-R. You can read it here.

The first topic, of course, is the quarterback derby. Erik Meyer is out with a concussion. Kyle Rowley, Bill Stull and Steven Sheffield are competing for the starting (and backup) job. I'm guessing Rowley gets the starting nod vs. New Orleans on Saturday. I'm also guessing that Meyer returns next week and reclaims the starting job for the showdown vs. Arizona. Ex-Shockie and current Rattler Kevin McCullough won't play next week after being placed on injured reserve Wednesday.

Check back tomorrow for an update when Rob Keefe names his starting quarterback.
