Shock fall again

Spokane, which started the season ranked No. 1, is still without a win three games into the young AFL season.

The mistake-prone Shock didn't score for the last 13 minutes, committed five turnovers and were flagged for costly penalty after costly penalty while falling to Iowa 43-42 on Friday night. Game recap here.

The Shock (0-3) led 28-18 at half, but scored just two touchdowns in the second half. They return home to face Kansas City next week. The Command (0-2) have a bye week after close losses to Dallas and San Jose.

Arizona (2-0), which plays Tulsa on Monday, leads the West Division. San Jose (2-1) lost to unbeaten Chicago. Utah (1-0) faces Orlando tonight.
