Once again it's time to go surfing on the big wave that will carry you right up to the 6 p.m. tip-off off Gonzaga's Elite 8 game with Stanford at the Arena (and on ESPN).

This morning, in addition to the game advance, we had a notebook and John Blanchette's column.   Read on for more of our discoveries.

The San Francisco Chronicle focus is on Gonzaga's Courtney Vandersloot.

In The San Jose Mercury News its Vandersloot and Stanford point guard Jeanette Pohlen (above in Dan Pelle photo).

On ESPNW, Michelle Smith has another angle with Vandersloot.

Last night I gave you a link to The New York Times on Vandersloot and I think it's good form to go back through that link for you to have it again.

I've also sent you to ESPN.com numerous times for tons of copy, now the Elite Eight predictions are up.
