Shock sign WR Gessner

One day after signing ex-Montana Grizzly WR Ryan Bagley, the Shock added Chas Gessner, a former teammate of Kyle Rowley's at Brown. WR Adron Tennell was placed on injured reserve.

Pittsburgh, the Shock's opponent Saturday, placed DL Terrence Carter on suspension. He led the Power in tackles for loss (4) and was tied for first in sacks (3) and quarterback hurries (3).
