EWU, Big Sky suspend Mario Brown for Montana Game
Eastern Washington, which dropped from first to 10th in this week's The Sports Network/Fathead.com FCS poll, will be without starting running back Mario Brown when it takes on 12th-ranked Montana in Missoula on Saturday.
Brown, a sophomore who rushed for a team-high 33 yards on 15 carries in Eastern's first two games, was suspended for one game by his own university and the Big Sky Conference for throwing a punch following last Saturday's 30-17 road loss to South Dakota.
You can read more about the suspension here, and you can access the weekly game notes supplied by EWU's sports information department here. In addition, I've included this link to the weekly notes posted by the Big Sky office.
