• Washington State: The news? The start time for the Colorado game has been set and it's on television. It will start at 12:30 p.m. PDT (or 1:30 in Boulder) and will be televised on Fox College Sports Pacific. ... Other than that there isn't a lot of WSU news (the Cougars return to the practice field this afternoon) but that doesn't mean you should stop reading.

• Around the Pac-12: From Oklahoma, where the regents gave the president the authority to make a conference change, to Texas (ditto) to Los Angeles to all points in between, everyone is staking out their territory (or doing what dogs do) in the conference re-alignment world. Where it will end, no one knows, but it sure looks as if a school like Washington State has to be happy it's in the Pac-12 and not the Big 12 or Big East. ... Washington: Though Keith Price's knee is not 100 percent, he says he will be on the field this week when the Huskies host Cal in a key conference game. ...
