Two days until big showdown

Anybody in the know about prep football probably saw this week coming.

The biggest game of the year in the Greater Spokane League thus far occurs Friday when No. 1-ranked Ferris (4-0) visits eighth-ranked Central Valley (4-0). Kickoff is at 7. Take a nap that day because it could be a long game what with Homecoming activities and the fact that it's televised.

QUESTION: What do you see happening Friday? Of course I'll have my pick in my Pick 6 predictions Thursday.

In a game that will likely decide the top 3A playoff berth, University (1-3) takes on Mt. Spokane (1-3) in the secocnd game of an Albi Stadium doubleheader Thursday. Kickoff is at 7:15.
