WSU practiced yesterday for the eighth time this spring, going through a 115-or-so-play scrimmage at Martin Stadium. Our story for today's newspaper focused on the strong play of the defensive line, and as usual, we had a blog post after practice summarizing the day's events. ... Bud Withers was in Pullman last week -- he became the third or fourth person recently to recommend that I dine at CD's Smoke Pit in Moscow, which I did the other day, and I suggest you do the same -- and wrote this story about defensive coordinator Mike Breske in today's Seattle Times. ...
