Another slow Monday

COUGARS

FROM PULLMAN -- After the frenzy of WSU's spring game, there was very little going on yesterday. Very, very little. But we did find a few links worth passing along, so let's get to it.

...

We have just one WSU football story for you, as CougCenter breaks down the "circle drill" that Washington State uses to begin its practices under Mike Leach. The team did it before the spring game, too, giving fans in attendance a look at one of the more entertaining drills Leach brought with him to Pullman. The best matchup Saturday featured Rickey Galvin against Daniel Simmons. ... The WSU baseball team took two of three games from Oregon in Eugene this weekend, beating the Ducks 10-6 on Sunday behind two homers from Taylor Ard.

Around the Pac-12 ... Speculating about Arizona pursuing a Xavier transfer. ... Taking a look at the NFL draft prospects of players from the Bay Area, and the chances of a California receiver, a punter and a linebacker. ... Chris Polk wants to play the same way in the NFL as he did at Washington. ... Oregon State's new secondary coach brings plenty of experience. ... Utah received a nice donation from a former player.

That's about all for now.
