We were given a tour of the Martin Stadium renovation yesterday, which I wrote about for the newspaper and posted some pictures from on the blog. We also blogged about practice, as usual. ... Howie Stalwick also writes about the stadium renovation. ... WSU associate athletic director John Johnson has been named one of four finalists for the athletic director job at Montana. He'll interview for the job next week. We spoke a bit yesterday about the job, and I'll post a portion of that conversation on the blog later today. Johnson's experience in the Big Sky as an AD obviously makes him a competitive candidate.

Around the Pac-12 ... Washington also gave a tour of its renovation project yesterday. ... More stadium stuff, this time from California. ... Arizona's quarterback is waiting for someone to hit him. ... Arizona State's punter is kicking with confidence and whatnot. ... Some players are coming and going for USC. ... This is a basketball story, but UCLA is preparing for some physical play in China. ... Utah's kicker is bouncing back from a nightmarish end to last season. ... Colorado expects some freshmen to play quite a bit this season. ... Oregon's newly-named starting quarterback is living his dream. ... An Oregon State safety is coming back from some tough injuries.

We'll have more details later from Mike Leach's meeting with the media this afternoon, though the Cougars have the day off from practice.
