Zags entertain future WCC foe Pacific

This didn't go well the last time it happened a couple years ago. Gonzaga took on then WCC-bound BYU at the 2011 NCAA Tournament in Denver and got Jimmered by 22 points. The venue and the opponent change today when the Zags entertain Pacific, which joins the WCC next season, at the MAC.

Pacific (3-3) has already knocked defending WCC champ Saint Mary's. The Tigers are an experienced club with all five starters and 11 letterwinners returning from last year's 11-19 squad. Pacific has won 20 games six of the last nine seasons under Bob Thomason, who is retiring at the end of the season. More on Thomason and the Tigers here.
