Chiefs, Americans renew rivalry

The Spokane Chiefs and Tri-City Americans will square off in about 15 minutes at the Arena. The big rivalry game will feature the annual teddy bear toss to benefit needy children. These teams have met in the playoffs the last two seasons. Spokane has won four of five from the Americans this season and leads the all-time series 147-126-2-5.
