Winterhawks edge Chiefs 4-3

Adam De Champlain's third-period goal gave the Portland Winterhawks a 4-3 win over the host Spokane Chiefs on Tuesday night in the final Western Hockey League game before the holiday break. More to come.

Chiefs rally for tie after one period

Todd Fiddler scored his team-high 24th goal and Mitch Holmberg followed with his 23rd as the Spokane Chiefs, trailing 2-0 midway through the first period, rallied to tie the Portland Winterhawks after 20 minutes at the Arena on Tuesday night.
