As legal troubles go, this incident rates pretty minor on the severity scale. But we do have a brief item about the Sunday arrest of Cougars long-snapper Zach Koepp, who was cited and released on a charge of obstructing a public servant. He's the second WSU football player to be arrested in as many weeks. C.J. Mizell was dismissed from the team last week following an arrest on charges of fourth-degree assault and second-degree criminal trespassing. ... These ESPN.com Pac-12 power rankings list WSU at No. 8. ... A fun story about Andrew Furney from CougCenter. ... Former WSU quarterback Alex Brink re-signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. ... Mike Leach made an offer to a Scout.com-rated 4-star offensive tackle from California. ... WSU and Gonzaga will host first-round games in the women's NCAA tournament in Spokane in 2013. ...
