WSU, the next morning

COUGARS

FROM PULLMAN -- We have some links on the day after WSU's 59-55 loss to Washington.

...

We'll start off with our game story, which focuses on WSU's missed free throws. We also have our postgame blog post. ... Percy Allen and Ryan Divish covered the game from the UW perspective. ... Howie Stalwick has a sidebar in the News Tribune. ... Bud Withers has a story about WSU's offseason football conditioning. ... Bernard Lagat scored a victory in the 3,000 meter at the indoor track championships.

As for yesterday's Pac-12 action ...

Arizona 65, UCLA 63: The Wildcats showed their maturity on senior night. UCLA's upset bid fell short.

Utah 58, Stanford 57: The Utes ended their home season on a positive note. What the heck happened to the Cardinal? That win over Colorado was pretty impressive two days ago. They weren't as good Saturday.

Arizona State 56, USC 52: The Sun Devils proved they're not the Pac-12's worst team. ... A 3-point play in the waning seconds gave USC the win.

Jorge Gutierrez provides inspiration to a high school in Denver. ... It's senior night for Colorado against Cal. ... The Buffaloes' spring football practices will be closed to the public. ... Oregon State's unselfishness has been tested by some losses. ... Oregon is trying to solve OSU's zone.

That's all for now.
