EWU looks to rebound vs. NAU

Yes, rebounding, which was a shortcoming in the Eagles' 76-69 loss Thursday night against Weber State. EWU was outrebounded 44-31 in a game that could have gone their way.

Tonight, the Eagles (7-8 overall and 1-2 in the Big Sky Conference) face Northern Arizona (5-10 and 1-2) , which is coming off a 20-point loss at Portland State. Tipoff is at 6:05 at Reese Court.

Head Coach Jim Hayford found plenty of positives in Thursday's game, After trailing by 17, the Eagles rallied to take the lead midway though the second half.

"That’s something we can build on," Hayford said. "We might not have beaten them today, but the time we need to beat them is in a couple months. There is a ceiling that this team can reach."

NAU, a 13 1/2-point underdog, is led by interim coach Dave Brown following the adrupt resignation of Mike Adras last month.
