Zags back in A.P. poll at 24

Gonzaga returned to the A.P. rankings at No. 24. The Bulldogs (17-3, 7-1 WCC) are 26th in ESPN/USA Today's latest poll.

The Bulldogs have a big week as they visit WCC newcomer BYU on Thursday and Pepperdine on Saturday. Saint Mary's, which thumped BYU on Saturday to remain unbeaten in conference at 10-0, moved up to No. 18 in A.P. and No. 16 in the coaches' poll.

The Gaels entertain San Diego on Thursday in their only game of the week. Saint Mary's is at Gonzaga the following Thursday.
