Tuesday links from WSU

COUGARS

FROM PULLMAN -- Not real upset about traveling to northern California this weekend, considering the temperature outside at the moment. And I'm too cheap to turn the heat on. So here we go with today's links, hands unthawed and everything.

...

And yes, I know, it's going to get a heck of a lot colder. ... We start you off this morning with a link to our notebook pieced together from yesterday's media availability, along with our first look at Stanford and a blog post with some video and comments from quarterback Jeff Tuel (as well as a few other notes). ... Howie Stalwick attended WSU's coaches' luncheon in Spokane yesterday and wrote this story with some comments from coach Mike Leach. ... CougCenter has pictures and drawings and gifs and things. ... From Stanford: Jon Wilner grades the Cardinal's game against Cal, and offers a bleak prediction for Saturday's game (if you're a WSU fan, anyway).

Around the Pac-12 ... Washington is sticking with its quarterback despite some recent struggles. ... An Arizona State defensive player will be the first to wear an honored number in practice this week. ... USC could be in for a shootout this week against Arizona. ... Jim Mora says UCLA won't change anything this week, no matter who ASU is with or without. ... California gets a D-minus for its performance last week against Stanford. ... Utah's backup running back will get more touches this week. The Utes are in danger of breaking some impressive streaks this season. ... Colorado is also sticking with its starting quarterback. Hard to read this and not feel even more perplexed about the Buffaloes' win over WSU. ... Oregon State welcomes its starting quarterback back this week against UW. ... Oregon is preparing for close-game situations.
