Plenty of Friday links from WSU

COUGARS

FROM PULLMAN -- A lot happened yesterday. Keep reading if you want links to it all.

...

OK, so maybe not that much happened. But we wrote a lot. Here's a story in the newspaper about Kache Palacio's rise at buck linebacker, here's a post on the blog with details from yesterday's practice, here's a blog post about basketball signee Tanner Lancona parting ways with WSU (and WSU parting ways with him), and here's a note in the paper about the same subject with quotes from Ken Bone. Oh, and here's our college baseball notebook, which leads with Scott Simon and his shutout of Utah last weekend. ... Howie Stalwick has a story about Lancona's decommitment.

Around the Pac-12 ... Fighting words are being thrown about in the melodrama between Arizona State and Notre Dame, which is trying to drop the former from its 2014 football schedule. ... Arizona is trying to limit injuries to its star running back by limiting his scrimmage reps. ... USC coach Lane Kiffin is in a hurry to get past last season and on to the next. ... Washington is hoping a cornerback from Alabama will help them replace Desmond Trufant. ... Utah's backup quarterbacks are keeping some heat on Travis Wilson. ... Colorado's coach isn't worried about his team's spring game being broadcast on the Pac-12 Network, and I can't imagine why he would be. ... Here's a story about Oregon's punter. ... Some notes from Oregon State's practice on Thursday.

That's it for today.
