Lawhorn and other WSU links

FROM PULLMAN — Practice No. 13 commences this afternoon for Washington State, but basketball news dominated the headlines yesterday. Well, our headlines, anyway. Continue reading.

Danny Lawhorn, who committed to WSU last month, signed his National Letter of Intent yesterday, and we have a story and a blog post about it. We also had a live chat yesterday. Also, Eric Oertel joined us for our latest installment of Five Questions. … CougCenter looks at Lawhorn's signing, and continues its series on the Air Raid playbook.

Around the Pac-12 … In a somewhat surprising move, Arizona freshman forward Grant Jerrett announced he will enter the NBA draft. … In an entirely unsurprising move, well-aged UCLA freshman Shabazz Muhammad declared for the NBA draft. … UCLA is moving some football players around on its defense. … California signed a 7-foot center yesterday. … Washington signed a pair of basketball players yesterday. … Utah signed three players.

That's it for now. We'll have more later after practice.
