In the WSU department, there was a baseball game yesterday, and the Cougars won it, beating No. 7 UCLA 4-3 to avoid a series sweep. Still, WSU now sits at 20-20 and 7-11 in Pac-12 play, and hasn't won a series since taking two of three from Arizona State to begin conference play. ... Former WSU offensive lineman Wade Jacobson wrote on his Facebook page yesterday that he's headed to Washington after signing with the Redskins. And former receiver Andrei Lintz will reportedly work out for the New Orleans Saints. ... Some more on Marquess Wilson out of Chicago.
