Eastern and Big Sky links

Time is flying - it's only nine days until the season opener at Oregon State - and so are the Eastern Washington receivers. Here's a look at this year's group. It's the penultimate (I  love that word) day of two-a-days, and I'll be there for the morning session. Finally, we have another live chat at noon Thursday at spokesman.com/sportslink. Until then, here are a few links:

First of all, the Big Sky Conference has just released its 2013 media guide. These books (and they are BIG books) used to be printed, but now they're available online only. Here it is. ... In Corvallis, Oregon State head coach still hasn't settled on a starting quartertback. ... No news out of Western Oregon, but I did find some videos. ....Nothing in the Toledo paper on the Rockets, so here's a link to the school web site, one of the best I've ever seen. ... Sam Houston State is picked to win its conference. ... A North Dakota football player is suffering from an unidenitifed illness. ... From Montana, another  feature  on MSU QB DeNariius McGhee.
