So, fellow parents, when your kid goes out for his "21-er" with his friends, did you lose a few hours' sleep until he made it safely home? Yeah, I thought so, and so did I last night, which is why this blog is a bit late. And it won't be very long either, as I'm heading to Cheney in a few minutes for this morning's scrimmage. Now for the links:

First, here's my feature on the Eastern secondary, focusing on what looks like a very strong unit this year.  The story also has some details on the Eagles' first official depth chart. ... Speaking of secondaries, the Oregonian as a feature on Rashaan Reynolds, Oregon State's latest shutdown corner. Overall, it was a slow day on the Beaver practice field. ...I'm still not finding any media coverage of Western Oregon football, so here's the school's website, which is quite good. ...From Houston, here's a short TV piece (aren;t they all) on Sam Houston State. ...
