Eastern leads Hornets at halftime

The Eastern Washington women have hit 4 of 7 3-pointers to lead Sacramento State 30-26 at halftime in Big Sky Conference play at Reese Court on Thursday. Sacramento State, a run-and-gun team, has hit just 2 of 11 from long range. Lexie Nelson leads EWU's balanced scoring with seven points. The teams have exchanged scoring runs. The Hornets used a 12-2 run to take their biggest lead, 21-12. Eastern responded with an 11-0 run.
