Chiefs, Royals will snap tie
The Spokane Chiefs and Victoria Royals are tied for fourth place in the Western Hockey League's Western Conference with 66 points apiece. The teams will meet in 15 minutes at the Arena to break that tie. This is the second of four meetings between the Chiefs and Royals this season. Spokane defeated Victoria 5-3 at the Arena on Oct. 5. The final two games will be March 1 and 2 in Victoria, British Columbia. The Royals have won four consecutive games and are 19-7-1-3 since Nov. 23. The Chiefs are 10-14-1-0 since Dec.7.
