Hitmen pack a punch

The Calgary Hitmen are one of the better teams in the Western Hockey League, as their record of 37-16-1-3 ranks second among 12 teams in the Eastern Conference. The Hitmen have won four consecutive games and have played better on the road (21-8-0-1) than at home (16-8-1-2). Calgary ranks first among 22 WHL teams in penalty minutes (1,096), 40 ahead of No. 2 Victoria. The Spokane Chiefs will see the Hitmen for the first and only time at the Arena tonight. Game time is 25 minutes away. For Chiefs fans, it will be the last time to see Spokane at home until Feb. 22.
