First-place Gonzaga stops Saint Mary’s

Balanced scoring powered Gonzaga to a 69-54 win over Saint Mary's on Thursday night at McCarthey Athletic Center. The Bulldogs (21-5, 11-1 West Coast Conference) won their ninth consecutive game and took a 2 1/2-game lead over Saint Mary's (16-7, 8-3) and BYU (17-7, 8-3). Stephanie Golden scored a season-high 13 points, Jazmine Redmon 12 and Sunny Greinacher 10 for Gonzaga. Story to come
