Chiefs seize 2-0 lead

Blake Gal and Todd Fiddler scored 24 seconds apart in the second period Saturday night to give the Spokane Chiefs a 2-0 lead over the Kamloops Blazers heading into the final period at the Arena. Spokane's Garret Hughson has stopped 23 shots and assisted on Fiddler's goal. Fiddler entered the night with 38 goals, tied for fifth in the Western Hockey League.
