Cold-shooting Gonzaga holds slim halftime lead

Gonzaga's quest to increase its winning streak to 13 games and close out the regular season with a win is getting a stiff challenge from Portland. Gonzaga leads the West Coast Conference game at McCarthey Athletic Center 27-24 at halftime. The Bulldogs have shot 9 for 31 from the floor, including 1 for 14 on 3-pointers. GU's starters are a combined 3 for 17 from the field. Only 9-for-29 shooting from the floor has kept the Pilots from taking the lead. Portland reserve guard Kari Luttinen has a game-high six points. Reserve guard Keani Albanez leads Gonzaga with five points.
