Karr ignites Gonzaga in first half

Senior guard Taelor Karr has already eclipsed her season high Thursday by scoring 15 first-half points as Gonzaga leads San Diego 41-23 in a West Coast Conference opener at McCarthey Athletic Center. Karr has hit 4 for 4 on 3-pointers and the Bulldogs have six 3-pointers overall. Karr also has a game-high four rebounds. Junior guard Haiden Palmer, Gonzaga's season scoring leader, has 11 points. USD's Amy Kame, who averages 15.4 ppg, has eight points.
