Vandals stumble late again

It was a frustrating night for Kyle Barone. And it was a frustrating last few minutes for the Idaho Vandals in general. After building a late seven-point lead, UI faltered in crunch time again in a 55-49 WAC loss to the University of Denver at Cowan Spectrum. The Vandals committed 18 turnovers, 12 in the second half, and Barone had six by himself. He also scored just six points, well off his average, with six rebounds.

UI fell to 6-8 overall, 2-2 in the WAC. You can read our story for the S-R, filed by Theo Lawson, and see more here.
