Another streak challenges Chiefs
The Spokane Chiefs are hosting the Kootenay Ice in a Western Hockey League game that's set to start in 20 minutes at the Arena. Kootenay has a modest record of 17-24-1-0, but the Ice are in the midst of a seven-game winning streak that began Dec. 29 in Spokane with a 7-3 victory. On Friday night, Spokane lost at Portland 5-2 in an outcome that improved the Winterhawks' winning streak to 13.
