FROM PULLMAN — It's Wednesday — news, I know — which means another couple of games in the Pac-12. Washington State plays one of them. You'd know this if you checked the schedule. Come on, people. Read on.

And on the blog, we had our usual post recapping Ken Bone's meeting with the media. … Howie Stalwick has this preview box in the Kitsap Sun. … The WSU women couldn't end their losing streak against Washington last night, falling for the 35th consecutive game. … A Utah guard wants to be more aggressive.

Around the Pac-12 … The other conference game tonight features Colorado and Washington (8:30 p.m., Pac-12 Networks). The Huskies are hoping people show up. Are the Buffaloes in desperation mode yet? … USC is trying to recover from the surprise it was given on Monday. … Cal guard Justin Cobbs doesn't care about shooting as long as his team wins. …  An Arizona walk-on wants to go into broadcasting in the future. … Looking at Oregon by the numbers. … Eric Moreland is trying to get back in good graces with Oregon State's coaching staff. … A couple football links: USC's recruiting may be suffering as a result of its disappointing season. No live chat today. We'll save that for tomorrow. But we'll be back before and after the game.
