Gonzaga holds huge halftime lead

Gonzaga started the game with a 10-0 run and continued to build its lead on BYU in a key West Coast Conference game at McCarthey Athletic Center on Thursday night. The Bulldogs (13-5, 3-1) lead the Cougars (12-4, 3-0) 37-19 at halftime, their biggest edge of the game. Haiden Palmer has 10 points and Sunny Greinacher eight for the Bulldogs. BYU's Jennifer Hamson (13 ppg) has missed her only two field-goal attempts.
