The Ryan Leaf saga took another negative turn yesterday, as it was reported that Leaf has been kicked out of a rehabilitation center and is headed to prison. ... WSU's next opponent, Colorado, has some work to do, but is looking to a bright future.

Around the Pac-12 ... There were two conference games last night. Oregon narrowly defeated USC, 76-74, as the Trojans missed three shots in the final 15 or so seconds to tie the game. ... UCLA kept rolling with a 74-64 win over Oregon State. ... Arizona, which faces Arizona State tomorrow, has found some extra motivation for its point guard. ASU wants to jump-start its 3-point shooting. ... There's plenty of talk at Stanford about the still-developing Manti Te'o situation. ... Utah's backups are making a case for playing time.
