Americans' loss helps Chiefs

The Spokane Chiefs and Tri-City Americans are in a race for fourth place in the Western Hockey League's Western Conference, which brings home-ice advantage during the first round of the playoffs. Tri-City leads Spokane by one point, but the Americans lost to Prince George on Tuesday in their bid to boost the edge to three points.
